SEO & GEO for education
Get found when they decide what to study.
Prospective students compare degrees, formats and costs on Google, and more and more they ask AI which institution is right for them. We get yours to show up, with the right information, in both places.
In short
What is SEO and GEO for education?
It's the work of getting universities, institutes and learning platforms to show up when someone searches for a degree, program or course, both on Google and in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews answers. The goal isn't traffic: it's information requests from people who can actually enroll.
What's different in education
Choosing where to study starts with a question.
Competition
Every search is fought by dozens of institutions
An online degree in a given city or country is contested by universities, institutes, rankings and portals. Winning takes more than a product page.
Aggregators
Portals take the click
Course directories and comparison sites hold the top spots and resell student interest. Your site has to be the best answer, not just another one.
AI
AI answers with someone else's data
If your offer, formats or degree accreditation aren't clear on your site, AI takes the information from third parties, or leaves you out altogether.
Calendar
Enrollment doesn't wait
Student acquisition has peaks. Content needs to rank before enrollment opens, not during.

We cover the prospective student's whole journey: from wondering what to study to the final comparison between institutions.
Architecture
One strong page per program

Career outcomes, degree validity, differences between formats, how much it costs. Content that answers what prospective students ask before enrolling.
Structured data
Your offer, machine-readable
Institution, programs and courses marked up with schema.org so search engines and AI engines read your academic offer without ambiguity.
GEO
Visibility in AI answers
We track what engines answer when someone asks what and where to study in your field and country, and work so they name you with correct information.
Local & multi-country
Campuses, cities and countries
Campuses and markets with different degree recognition. Each one with its own page, local signals and language version.

A plan aligned with enrollment
An editorial and technical plan designed to reach each intake already ranking, with enough time for Google and AI to pick it up.
GEO for education
When people ask AI where to study, does it name you?
Every month we track prospective students' questions in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews: whether you're mentioned, how your programs are described and next to which institutions.
How we approach GEOQuestions we track, for example
- Which online university offers an accredited [degree] in [country]?
- Short online programs with good job prospects
- Is an online master's worth it while working full time?
- [Your institution] vs. [other institution]: which one is better?

How we work
From diagnosis to the next intake
- 01
We audit your academic offer
Programs, formats, campuses and markets. How they look on Google today, which portals take the click and what AI says about your degrees, accreditation and costs.
- 02
We plan backwards from enrollment
We prioritize programs by enrollment potential and start date, leaving time for content to get indexed before the peak. A plan admissions and marketing can follow.
- 03
We get every program ready
Complete program pages, decision content (career outcomes, accreditation, formats), structured data and local signals per campus, with your team.
- 04
We close every intake with a review
We track information requests, rankings by program and AI mentions every month, and at the end of each intake we review what worked to prepare the next one.

FAQ
SEO and GEO for education: what people ask us
Does SEO help with student acquisition?
Yes. Choosing what and where to study usually starts with a search or a question to AI. If your programs show up with clear information at that moment, you get requests from people already considering enrolling. It applies to on-campus, hybrid and online universities, institutes, business schools and course platforms.
If prospective students ask AI what to study, should we stop investing in SEO?
No. When AI answers which degree to choose or where to study it, it pulls data from pages that are already indexed and clear: format, length, accreditation, approximate costs. If your program pages don't have that information, AI takes it from a portal or a ranking. SEO for your programs is the raw material for GEO; we work on both together.
Do you guarantee enrollments, rankings or that AI will name the institution?
No. Neither Google nor AI engines disclose how they choose what to show, competition for each degree varies by country and intake, and enrollment also depends on your offer, tuition and admissions process. What we do guarantee is a plan aligned with your calendar and clear measurement of requests, rankings and mentions.
We have marketing and admissions teams. Why not let them do it?
They know the offer and the student, and we need them on the project. What an agency brings is what an in-house team rarely has: technical SEO for sites with hundreds of programs, experience competing against portals and aggregators, and tracking of what AI says about your degrees. We work with marketing, admissions and whoever manages the site.
How do we compete with course portals and comparison sites?
With program pages that are more complete and useful than the portal's, clear structured data and authority of your own. The goal is for your site to be the source both Google and AI prefer to cite.
How long until we see results? When should we start?
It depends on how many programs you have, your site's technical health and competition for each degree. Improvements to program pages that already had demand usually show first; AI mentions and the most contested degrees take longer. That's why it's best to start several months before the intake you care about, not once it's open.
How do you measure results?
With acquisition metrics: information requests, contacts with admissions and enrollments when they can be attributed, plus rankings by program and mentions in AI engines.
What if we already work with another agency?
Institutions often have a media agency for their enrollment campaign; we don't compete with it, we coordinate so organic and paid push the same programs. If you already have an SEO agency, we can take on a specific front, such as GEO or a redesign, with clear roles. And if you're considering a switch, the diagnosis helps you compare.
